The Delta Omicron chapter of Sigma Theta Tau was chartered in 1980. During its 29 years, the chapter has grown and flourished through the efforts of its membership. The chapter and the School of Nursing have established a supportive relationship in which the goals and interests of both have been strengthened.

Our chapter earned the Chapter Key Awards at the 35th Biennium Convention in San Diego in November 1999 and at the 36th Biennium Convention in Indianapolis in November 2001. This award is presented for excellence in leadership development and collaboration, for membership recognition, and for membership involvement, mentoring and recruitment.
