October 16, 2009: After a national search, Dr. Jane M. Kirkpatrick, Interim Head of the School of Nursing and Interim Associate Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences has been appointed as the Head of the School of Nursing and Associate Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences. March 23, 2009: Two rural family health clinics operated by Purdue's School of Nursing in Delphi and Monon will receive $1.3 million through a grant made possible by the federal economic stimulus package. President Barack Obama announced March 2 the allocation of $155 million to 126 community health centers nationwide to increase access to care for people in need and create jobs. In Indiana, a total of $2.6 million will support the Purdue clinics and Indiana Health Centers Inc. in Indianapolis. read more

Novak oversees the five nursing school clinics, including four rural sites in Carroll, White and Tippecanoe counties.
