Kirkpatrick, Associate Professor of Nursing, has been appointed interim head of Purdue University's School of Nursing and interim associate dean in the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. Kirkpatrick succeeds Julie Novak, who is stepping down as head and associate dean at the end of the academic year. read more

April 23, 2008: Julie C. Novak, head of the Purdue University School of Nursing since 2003, announced today that she will step down at the end of the academic year to devote more time to managing the school's five nurse-managed clinics, the doctor of nursing practice program and her research. read more
