Global Initiatives

In an increasingly global society, an international component has become an important part of higher education, helping prepare students for the new world of the twenty-first century.

Traveling, studying, and working abroad develop students develop maturity and independence, expand their knowledge of the world, and increase their sensitivity to other cultures-all important to healthcare providers.

Nursing students can participate in Purdue's many Study Abroad programs, or check out School of Nursing clinical opportunities at the Kayenta Navajo Nation, Mexico and Nicaragua.
