Giving to the School of Nursing![]() Dear Alumni and Friends of Nursing, Spring is has finally arrived! The West Lafayette Campus is starting to fill with the colors of trees and flowers beginning to bloom. The 2008 Spring Fest occurred in April and was once again an enormous success. Through the help of our graduate students, the Purdue School of Nursing was able to actively participate by taking blood pressures and distributing health information to campus visitors. President Córdova held the first inauguration in Purdue's history to unveil her new strategic plan focused on student access and success. I want to take this opportunity to thank all who have made a contribution to the School of Nursing over the last fiscal year. It's not too late to make a donation to the school to ensure that we finish the 2007-2008 fiscal year on a high note! Every gift to the school is greatly appreciated and makes a substantial impact on our program. To all our dedicated volunteers, I would also like to extend my thanks for everything you do. Without having tremendous volunteers help with events, running the clinics, and assisting with the Advisory Board, we would not be able to accomplish nearly as much as we do. If you would like to get more involved with the school, we would be very much appreciated and feel free to contact me at anytime. The School of Nursing's strategic plan is still being developed and the anticipation of its release is growing. There is always a need for undergraduate scholarship and graduate fellowship support. This is also one of President Córdova's main initiatives in her Access and Success Campaign. If you are interested in setting up a scholarship or volunteering to solicit a class gift, please let me know. We are all blessed to be part of the Purdue Family! Hail Purdue! |
