Education

Karen S. Yehle received an AD in Nursing from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN), a BS in Nursing from Purdue University Calumet(Hammond, IN), a MS in Nursing from DePaul University (Chicago, IL), and a PhD from Touro University International (Cypress, California).

Research: Adult nursing with specialization in cardiovascular nursing

Professor Yehle's research interest is self-care, health literacy, adherence, and self-efficacy in chronic illness. She is also interested in telehealth, quality of life and locus of control. Additionally, Professor Yehle is interested in applying technologies to assist people with heart disease make positive dietary behavior changes.
