Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health

The Trinity Nursing Center for Child health was born out of an acute community need. The rate of child abuse in Tippecanoe County had increased dramatically from 68 substantiated cases in 1998 to 400 substantiated cases in 2005.

Through a collaboration between Trinity United Methodist Church and the School of Nursing, the Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health opened its doors in April 2006.

Nestled in downtown Lafayette, the clinic offers parent education, mentoring, growth and developmental assessment, and health supervision for children from birth to 18 years of age. Reach Out and Read and Kinder Music programs are also offered to foster parent-child attachment and learning.

The Purdue School of Nursing clinic network provides access to safe, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare.

The Trinity Nursing Center for Child Health does NOT provide emergency care, such as bleeding, premature labor, or trauma. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
