Nursing Center for Family Health

The Nursing Center for Family Health is a nurse-managed clinic based in the Purdue University School of Nursing in West Lafayette.

In 1981, the School of Nursing received a federal grant to establish the Nursing Center for Family Health on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. The clinic would become a valuable practice site for students and faculty and a model for similar clinics nationwide.

Today, nursing faculty and students facilitate the Healthy Purdue program, which encourages Purdue employees, their spouses and university retirees to undergo yearly health promotion screenings in an effort to contain the university's mounting healthcare costs.

Evening and summer appointments are available upon request. Appointments are necessary for all examinations, consultations, and laboratory tests. Payment is due at time of services (cash or check made out to Purdue University). We do not file insurance or accept Medicare or Medicaid. Prices are subject to change.

The Purdue School of Nursing clinic network provides access to safe, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare.

The Nursing Center for Family Health does NOT provide emergency care, such as chest pain, bleeding, premature labor, or trauma. For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
