Purdue Nursing Alumni Organization (PNAO)

PNAO is an active part of the Purdue Alumni Association. Through PNAO membership, nursing graduates keep in touch with their classmates and share a heritage of excellence with Purdue University. An annual gathering reunites former classmates, usually at Purdue. PNAO presents an annual Outstanding Alumna Award, which honors those graduates who have made significant contributions to nursing. PNAO also presents the annual Helen R. Johnson Scholarship to an outstanding sophomore or junior Purdue Nursing student. All alumnae receive free issues of the School's Newsletter, Purdue Nurse, which is published twice a year.

Purdue University alumni, students, supporters, and faculty and staff have a new way to connect, reconnect and network. Boilersphere, a Web-based networking site exclusive to Purdue people, was launched Monday, Jan. 28. The site allows Purdue alumni to post job openings for free and provide an outlet for easier interactions. Users also can connect with former friends and professors, network with other Purdue graduates, and share experiences with current students interested in their fields. To register and become a member, go online to http://www.purdue.edu/boilersphere/.
