R.N. to B.S ProgramThe Purdue School of Nursing has a R.N. to B.S. program for students who are already registered nurses and wish to obtain their B.S. in Nursing. To be considered for admission to Purdue University's RN to BS program, an applicant must be a graduate of an NLN accredited associate degree or diploma nursing program with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Admission is limited and competitive for all students. Prior to submitting an application, potential students must meet with an academic advisor in the Office of Student Services to review their transcripts and to discuss the curriculum requirements. A meeting with the RN to BS program director should follow the meeting with the academic advisor. Application/Admissions processTo make a formal application to the School of Nursing, using the Application for Admission to the School of Nursing, R.N. to B.S. form and the Supplemental Application form. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Students must have their previous degree transcript reviewed by a School of Nursing advisor prior to being considered for admission. The applicant is responsible for verifying that the School of Nursing has received all materials. Address any questions to (765) 494-4042. Applications will not be considered until all the required documents have been received. The School of Nursing Admissions Committee will do an initial screening of the candidates. Chosen candidates will be interviewed. An additional student fee will be required. Your acceptance as an R.N. to B.S. student at Purdue University School of Nursing is influenced by many factors.
