Study Abroad

In an increasingly global society, an international component has become an important part of higher education, helping prepare students for the new world of the twenty-first century. Traveling, studying, and working abroad develop students develop maturity and independence, expand their knowledge of the world, and increase their sensitivity to other cultures-all important to healthcare providers. Nursing students can participate in Purdue's many Study Abroad programs, or check out School of Nursing clinical opportunities at the Kayenta Navajo Nation and Nicaragua.
