Optional Cognates in Interdisciplinary Gerontology - 6-12 credit hours
This optional sub-specialization would be completed in addition to the required 46-49 credit hours. It will be chosen from the interdisciplinary gerontology electives as guided by the faculty. This optional component of the curriculum provides for a multidisciplinary knowledge base in gerontology. Six to twelve credit hours may be chosen from the interdisciplinary gerontologic elective track. If twelve credit hours are completed the student satisfies the requirement for a minor in gerontology.
