In 2009, Sara Bard won the University Celebration of Graduate Student Teaching Award for the College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. Sara earned her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree in May 2009. Her thesis project was titled "Assessment of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner's Perceptions of Complementary Alternative Medicine in Children with Asthma and Allergies."
